Meet Mark & Kelsey

Mark Bertel Jr. is a craftsman by trade, born in St. Louis, MO and currently residing in Mountain Home Arkansas. He is the third generation of talented carpenters, inheriting knowledge from his father, builder and master carpenter Mark Bertel Sr. and his Grandfather, Vernon Bertel. Mark Jr.'s training began on a variety of job sites helping on new home construction builds, renovations, and an array of custom finish carpentry projects.

 

When he began his own business, he quickly realized his passion was in customization, creating projects unlike any other. The business naturally blossomed into a specialty niche, remodeling vintage trailers and campers, which fulfills his desire to customize and bring innovative ideas to the table, while offering his customers the opportunity to add mobile extensions of their businesses, being able to hit the open road, travelling to events, festivals, or across the country if it moves them. 

 

His fiancée Kelsey (whom he is due to wed in Summer 2017) is also an integral part of the business, lending to the aesthetics and aiding the execution of the trailer transformations.Kelsey brings fresh ideas and a feminine touch to the projects. "But he's still the boss!", She laughs. Together they travel and work across the country, and take any chance they get to make memories in new places (with their dog Stevie in tow.) They truly do treat life as an adventure.
